This is the fourth print
released in the Packer Hall of Fame Series. Each
print is autographed by Paul Hornung and
artist Jeff Riemer. The print layout and format is
identical to the previously released Ray Nitschke,
Jim Taylor, and Bart Starr Hall of Fame prints. The
print comes with a photo certificate that also
details his career stats.
After winning
unanimous All-American honors, Paul Hornung was
selected as a bonus number one draft pick in 1957
by the Green Bay Packers. His career stumbled early
until new coach Vince Lombardi switched him from
quarterback to halfback. The transformation was
immediate, turning him into a superstar. Paul won
the NFL scoring title three consecutive years from
1959 to '61 while setting a NFL record with 176 point
scored in 1960. He retired after the 1966 season and
was inducted into the pro football hall of fame in
1986.
